The genetic diversity of populations is the ultimate source for adaptation and survival under changing environmental conditions. Genetic monitoring temporal changes in autochthonous forest tree key ecosystems species allows us to predict mitigate potentially harmful forests adaptability. aim present study was assess protected A. glutinosa populations, compare between maternal progeny generations, a distribution area that known harbour extensive diversity, if there an impact on when management practices promote natural regeneration mature stands are introduced. ten from Lithuania studied using 20 nuclear SSR primers.
